It takes a lot of planning and people in order to put on a worship service as a church community. While our Kids Ministry, and the many volunteers that it takes to successfully run it, can often seem “behind-the-scenes,” the truth is that without our many volunteers sacrificing their time and generously offering their gifts we wouldn’t be able to let parents worship in the sanctuary and hear the Word of God and respond in grateful worship.
We are always looking for more volunteers, but are in a season in our church we have a particular need to increase our Kid’s Ministry volunteer team in order to continue offering our exception Kids Ministry. Will you prayerfully consider helping serve our church and community in this way?
Here are some myths about who makes a great Kids Ministry volunteer…
MYTH: Spending time with kids is my FAVORITE thing in the whole world.
MYTH: Since I enjoy the worship service so much and hate missing out on sermons, I’m sure there are others who will fill in and my help is not needed.
TRUTH: If you are a growing Christian, who believes in the mission and vision of our church and would like to see it grow and to see more people impacted by our ministry – you are the perfect candidate to fill one of these vital roles. It is a monthly commitment and we can currently train you to help out with a variety of age groups (Nursery age, Pre-K and Kindergarten, early elementary, and more).
