A Message From Pastor Mike

How You Can Participate

This is an unusual Easter and one many of us will never forget! Still, it’s an opportunity for us to worship Jesus and share the news of His resurrection in creative and life-giving ways. Join our church community by:

1) Finding ways to participate in the three challenges below as an individual or as a family

2) Joining us on Facebook or Instagram for devotionals from Pastor Mike on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and to share ideas and pictures of what you and your family are doing this Holy Week and Easter weekend with the hashtag #SpreadingEaster

3) Filming and emailing us a short 5-10 second video of you or your family saying “Happy Easter! He Is Risen. He Is Risen Indeed” for a compilation video we are putting together of various people in the church to show on Easter Sunday! If recording on your phone, please record sideways (horizontal). Email the videos to mike@sweetaterchristian.org or office@sweetwaterchristian.org

4) Worshipping with us on Facebook Live this Good Friday at 7 PM and Easter Sunday at 10:30 AM!

Worshipping Through Prayer & Scripture

Let’s all read and prayerfully reflect on John 19-21. As you slowly read it, ask God to speak to you as you study these chapters on your own or as a family. Pastor Mike will be preaching from these chapters for our Good Friday and Easter Sunday services.

Sharing The Light of Christ With Others

Call or write a neighbor, family member, or friend and explain what Easter means to you. Maybe decorate your sidewalk with some fun chalk and an encouraging Easter message. Create an art or crafts project with your kids or by yourself!

Connecting With Your Church Family

Reach out to the spiritual friends you’ve made in our church community and consider reaching out to someone you may not know very well, yet. Look for ways to pray together & encourage one another as you connect. Email us if you need contact information and we’ll help!
