We are so excited to invite you to participate in our upcoming Spring Women’s Retreat at Sweetwater Christian Church.
This virtual retreat will take place online, but we have been working hard to design a program that will still deliver many of the enjoyable aspects that you have come to value from our regular women’s ministry retreats.
Our theme for the retreat is “Walking in the Wilderness” and we will be doing a study of the life of Hagar as presented in Scripture (Genesis 16:1-16 and Genesis 21:8-21). The retreat dates are Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16.
Members of our women’s ministry team will release a few short videos a week before the retreat and these will include reflections on the questions we will be exploring like:
“What are you learning about God during this time of quarantine and social distancing?”
“What are you learning about yourself?”
“What are you learning about the shape and nature of hope?”
We will also be releasing a video with our very own Burgandy Roberts leading us in yoga.
We hope you’ll find the time to watch these videos before the retreat weekend, which will include:
– Friday Night Zoom Social (May 15 – 8:00 PM)
We’ll gather to hang out and catch up. Bring your favorite beverage (like wine or tea) and self-care item (face mask, nail polish, or depending on your situation maybe just a room to yourself) and join us for a chance to just chat and enjoy each other’s company.

– Saturday Small Group Zoom Discussions (May 16)
We’ll huddle together online to discuss and share with one another as we reflect on the story of Hagar and our own experiences.
Email us at email@example.com with any questions!
We will have three different times on Saturday for you to join a small group discussion as we are hoping to keep these groups small and intimate.
Option 1: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Option 2 | 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Option 3 | 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Please fill out the form below to register for one of these options (select all that apply and we will put you in the time slot that makes the most sense).
